How to Ground Yourself . . .
...Emotionally and Spiritually
In life, during our travels we will often have moments when we feel confused, unorganized, and just all together disoriented. Unfortunately, this is a necessary part of life. It does not mean though that these feelings need to bring us down. In times like this it can often help to ground oneself.
How do I ground myself, you ask? Here are two simple techniques to help you ground yourself spiritually and emotionally.
The Anchor: This technique works best outside. If need be, you can do it where you are, standing on the ground facing east. (When you aren’t sure of where east is, just look in the direction the sun rises.)
Egg Shell Technique

A simple and very effective spiritual exercise to protect yourself from psychic attack and unwanted influences, clear your energy field, remove entities and implants and cut inappropriate karmic ties.
I will walk you through this exercise and when you have read it all, go ahead and close your eyes and walk yourself through it. You don't need to actually see anything to do the exercise. You can just pretend. Subtle energy is affected by your intent.
There is an energy field around each of us. It is shaped somewhat like an eggshell. There are many different colours - and perhaps some clouds in it.
